Dear MEA Members,
The Mississippi Entomological Association Annual meeting will be held October 21-22, 2013. Similar to last year, we will have a joint meeting with the MWSS and MAPPAN in the Bost Building in Starkville. There will be a Med-Vet Roundtable and a joint session with presenters from MEA, MWSS, and MAPPAN on Monday afternoon. The focus of the latter session will be to address important issues facing the agricultural industry in Mississippi. As always, we will have an industry sponsored steak supper Monday night. The main part of the meeting will begin Tuesday morning with a student competition.The awards banquet will be Tuesday and the general session will be Tuesday afternoon. I encourage everyone to do their best to attend and participate in this years meeting.
The deadline for pre-registration is October 11!
Paper and Poster submissions are due October 1!
