72nd Annual Conference of the Mississippi Association of Entomologists, Nematologists, and Plant Pathologists (MAENPP) (October 26–27, 2026)

Dear MAENPP Members,

The Mississippi Association of Entomologists, Nematologists, and Plant Pathologists (MAENPP) Conference will be held October 26–27, 2026 at the Bost Extension Center at Mississippi State University. As always, we will have an industry sponsored steak supper Monday night (October 26). Student presentations will be on Monday, and other presentations will be given on Tuesday. The awards banquet will be held at noon on Tuesday. We encourage everyone to do their best to attend and participate in this year's meeting.

PAPER AND POSTER SUBMISSIONS

Paper and Poster Submissions are due by 25 September 2026. Please fill out the appropriate form below and submit to MAENPP Secretary Tyler Towles, either by email or mail (contact info below). Remember that you are allowed to enter both the paper and poster competition but presentations must be on different topics.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

 2026 MAENPP Scholarships and J.C. Redd Memorial Scholarship applications. [PDF]

Application deadline: September 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST.

The MAENPP scholarships will be awarded to one M.S. and one Ph.D. student pursuing research in entomology or plant pathology at a Mississippi institution. The J.C. Redd Memorial Scholarship is available to a Mississippi resident pursuing graduate research in entomology, with preference given to students working in applied entomology and integrated pest management.

Applicants may apply for both scholarships using a single application if they meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants must also be MAENPP members and be registered for the 2026 MAENPP Annual Meeting taking place on October 26–27, 2026 in Starkville, MS.
